Project work, made visible.

I bring structure to digital product delivery, implementations and process improvement, grounded in hands-on experience coordinating people, priorities and outcomes.

Project case studies

Planning, implementation and operational improvement in practice.

Three case studies in digital product delivery, platform implementation and process improvement, showing how I have defined needs, planned delivery, coordinated stakeholders, implemented change and measured results.

Digital product delivery

Designing and launching a six-level interactive English curriculum

A two-person core team, a validated scope expansion and one coordinated launch across 18 class, homework and teacher editions.

MyEnglishUpgrade.comJun 2023 - Aug 2025Founder & Project Lead

Challenge

Educators needed reliable, consistent material, while learners needed one engaging curriculum that could support progress from beginner through advanced levels. Existing preparation relied on multiple tools, significant manual effort and teaching expertise.

Approach

I built the business case and product roadmap, gathered requirements from educators and learners, and prioritized them by launch need and future value. Work moved through a lean Trello workflow across curriculum, design, product development, marketing and sales. Each version was developed sequentially and tested iteratively in FlipHTML5 before all 18 editions launched together through a multi-currency Shopify storefront.

Key decision

I tested a working MVP in one-on-one sessions with three educators and approximately 25 students, including live lessons with individual learners. Their feedback validated the interactive features, so I expanded the scope across all 18 versions and rebaselined the schedule from 12 to 26 months, delivering a complete product with higher customer value.

Implementation & adoption

Local implementation of a student progress and feedback platform

Turning a franchise platform into a sustainable daily workflow for educators, coordinators and approximately 300 learners.

Challenge

The branch needed to integrate a franchise-developed platform into daily delivery. Success depended not only on configuration and testing, but on educator adoption of a new documentation system requiring updates after every class.

Approach

I supported local configuration and testing, provided QA feedback, and created and delivered a staff-training presentation. The broader rollout used meetings, workshops and supporting videos to establish a consistent process and refine it through staff feedback.

Adoption risk

Educators raised a legitimate concern: the additional administrative work had no clear approach to compensation. I brought that concern forward and worked with colleagues, staff and management toward an agreement that established paid time for the required follow-up work.

Result

The platform remained in regular use after the first semester. During the rollout period, the branch pass rate rose from approximately 80% to above 90%, alongside clearer visibility for educators to support their students through consistent follow-up.

Operations & project support

Standardizing operations to accelerate project delivery

Rebuilding the administrative foundation of a student-run consultancy during a period of growth.

EJECFeb 2018 - Jul 2019Administrative & Financial Coordinator

Challenge

Limited documentation and inconsistent administrative processes delayed the start of client projects. Contracts and commercial proposals could take more than a week, extending delivery estimates before technical work even began.

Approach

Leading a three-person administrative and financial team, I standardized approximately 15 templates and processes across commercial proposals, contracts, recruitment, member departures and internal documentation. I also maintained controls for invoices, cash flow, payables and receivables, project budgets, forecasts and budget-versus-actual performance.

Delivery under uncertainty

On a seven-person AutoCAD-to-FreeCAD migration project for a local construction company, I administered the contract and project finances. The unfamiliar technology extended delivery from six to more than nine months; transparent client communication, risk-aware pricing and active contract support helped the team deliver every requested asset successfully.

About

What I bring to project work.

My career began in education and business operations, where I learned to uncover needs, coordinate delivery and build trust across cultures. As my responsibilities grew, the work increasingly became project work: standardizing processes, implementing change, coordinating small teams and taking digital products from concept through launch and support.

I formalized that experience through a Business Administration diploma from the University of Victoria and the Project Management Professional certification. I am now bringing that combination of practical delivery and business grounding to project teams in Calgary. I approach project work with attention to detail and transparent communication, adapting plans when needed while keeping people aligned and focused on results.
